Healthy Habits, Healthy Living is specifically for individuals looking to transition to a healthier lifestyle. It is also catered for someone that has some knowledge about Healthy Living but might be stuck on what actions to take to make a full transition.
Healthy living is a way of life that encompasses not only what you eat, but how you live and what you think, (now known as mental health), on a day to day basis. It is intentional living, and a journey requiring your full presence.
When referring to Healthy Living, I often concede to the understanding that this journey is ripe for one who has gotten to the point where “Enough is Enough,” and until you’ve made that declaration with yourself, it may be more challenging to make the transition.
Healthy Habits, Healthy Living can be considered a passion project for me-and one that I couldn’t ignore. For as long as I can remember, I’ve always been asked about nutrition, natural remedies, and basically anything health related. Many times I didn’t even have the answers, but the questions grew me, I researched and found the answers to help those that elicited me.
With so much information available to us, it can sometimes be overwhelming on where to start and what steps to take without getting confused and winding up taking no steps at all.
My journey played out this way, I’d study one approach, then another and another. It was a revolving cycle. Only when I stepped into my full power, and got still and started listening to my inner voice, did I begin to make traction and started getting results.
It is fulfilling to learn, grow, and serve… I cannot think of anything I’d prefer to do more other than teaching and learning from children.
I like to keep things simple, practical, and easy to digest. The way I want to help you, is the way I’ve guided myself and continue to guide myself and others.
My process is to first get clear on your health goals, incorporating practical steps with patience day-by-day that will assist you in getting there. Intent, an opened mind, and repetition is the key.
